I obtained my teaching certificate from the Texas Board of Education for pre-K through 4th grade and hold a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southwest Texas State University. Thereafter, I taught 3rd grade in the Dallas County Independent School District and the Garland Independent School District in Texas for three years. My international teaching experience began in Maseru, Lesotho where I served on the American International School of Lesotho’s Board of Directors for one year. We then moved to the Dominican Republic where I taught 3rd grade at Carol Morgan School in Santo Domingo for five years. My last two years overseas, I taught 3rd and 4th grade classes at international schools in Panama.
As a teacher, I love watching my students learn, grow, and advance their academic and personal confidence and capabilities.
